Eldorath is Valannia's only neutral city — a place no race controls and no faction can claim. It sits in Lyria, the first region of Voldrakar, and it is where every hero begins their journey into the wider world.

Its name comes from the Qwemzi language: 'Eldorath' means 'friendship.' The city was founded by Kurangi — the sole surviving member of the Qwemzi, an alien civilization whose ship crashed on this exact location. Rather than a ruin, Kurangi built a city at the crash site as a living memorial to his people and a gift to the world that received him.

Eldorath was built by many races together — Zan'Thar architects shaped its structures, Tyxen engineers powered its infrastructure, and builders from across the continent contributed to its form. The result is a city unlike any racial capital: Qwemzi elegance meets magical fungi aesthetic — sweeping arches, living terraces, and luminous domes rising from canals and lagoons. Transport inside the city runs by Qwemzi Hydroglider, navigating the waterways that both define the city's character and serve a deeper purpose.

Eldorath is a safe zone — not by political agreement, but by an ancient magical enchantment woven into the city's foundation. This is the Sanctuary Seal, and it makes Eldorath the only place in Valannia where combat is strictly and permanently forbidden.

Kurangi forged the Seal himself, binding part of his own life-essence into the enchantment. It is not a rule enforced by guards or governance — it is a metaphysical barrier maintained by the Eldorath Arcane Society, renewed generation by generation, and sustained in part by the city's canals and lagoons. The water that gives Eldorath its distinctive shape is also what keeps the Seal alive.

The consequence for violation is exile — without appeal. There are no exceptions.

Points of Interest (POIs) are timed activities that reward heroes with XP, items, and temporary boosts. Two are currently active in the Lyria region — both accessible from Eldorath. Use them consistently. The XP and items compound over time, and for lower-level heroes the speed boost from the Vortex is a significant movement advantage.

Eldorath land is minted on Solana and purchased in $VALAN. The land sale launched November 28, 2025. All plots are upgradeable and customizable — owning land is not just a status marker, it is a functional economic position inside the city.

Land rarity determines your plot's size, district, and potential utility depth. More central plots carry more governance influence and a larger share of city-level revenue flows.
